There is something really nice about finally telling your parents everything that's gone wrong in your life. Its like the weight of the world was lifted off my shoulders and now, there's almost nothing I can't do! I want to thank you to those of you who come on here and read my posts; it really means a lot to me that you support me and my passion for writing :)
Friends are some of the most influential people in our lives,
We hold tight to the ones there in our darkest of days,
We grow together and spread our wings to fly,
Sometimes spending time with them goes so fast like its a haze,
Finding the right ones are a struggle,
Some are only there to benefit from you,
Others can tell with one look that you want to cuddle,
And those are usually the ones who remain true,
True to who they are,
True to your commitment as a support system,
Whether they are near or far,
No matter what they will always make time to listen,
They are your shoulder to cry on,
They know you have difficulties with math,
Their presence can linger even when their long gone,
They can be described as your "other half,"
Friendships are about give and take,
The strongest ones are felt in through the heart,
They are about forgiveness when you make a mistake,
Even if you haven't seen each other in a while,
When you reconnect it's like you were never apart.
